What to Do in February for Your:

Lawn:

Choose controlled-release granular fertilizer such as Fertrell, that will provide long lasting     results and improve the color and coverage of your lawn.

Fertilizing:

Fertilize now if you haven’t done it in January. Fertilize plants and trees by spreading granular fertilizer around the soil and watering it in.

Pruning:

Before new growth emerges, trim brown, damaged leaves from ground covers, shrubs, and from ornamental grasses.

Treatments:

Disease-susceptible varieties of fruit trees such as avocado and mango may require
applications of fungicides such as Liquid Copper Fungicide.
